In FIRST LEGO League Explore, teams of students through ages 6 - 10 must come together to build, design, and program a model using LEGO Education technology.

Every year, a new theme is released that includes new challenges that the students must overcome. Themes can range from art, transportation, energy, and more! 

Once they have completed their project, they present it to a panel of judges at Festivals. Festivals allow students to celebrate what they have accomplished and show what they have learned. 

Through FIRST LEGO League Explore, students learn how to apply the engineering design process at a young age, along with the importance of teamwork and collaboration.

Students also get to delve into programming and working with different kinds of sensors to motorize their models and add interactivity. 

The Tech Robotics Association currently houses three FIRST LEGO League Explore teams, as part of our mission to provide FIRST programming to students who do not have access themselves.
